Bats to you!

Would you believe it! There is a large bat colony down near our front gate - about 1.5 klms away, yet this little one has decided to make a home on our verandah rafter. Must be so hot during the day when it is sleeping! Just as well the cooler weather is here now. Max 16 degrees C today!

Simply stunning views and of course the famous Norfolk Pines abound.

Norfolk views

One of the many picture postcard views around every corner on Norfolk. This one is looking towards Phillip Island which is now a sanctury for bird life. Still windy!

Norfolk Break

Just returned from a short holiday (for me, work for Vince) on Norfolk Island. Either my husband has shrunk or they are making the trees mighty big over there. Beautiful island and the people are so friendly.

Whimsy Stamps

This is another cute stamp that I used on
my son's 16th birthday card, 1st May 2011.

Bit of leather and lace with his initial attached
using a Kaisercraft brad.

Can't quite see that I have dimensionalised her
but the perfect pearls swipe using versamark and
a leaf stamp on the mat stands out well.

What have I been doing?

The kids are home for the school holidays and my craft area has been invaded!

I have been busy!! 

The last couple of months I have converted a couple of rooms in our Lismore clinic to a workshop for classes and also a work room for myself.  Moving the majority of my "stuff" into town has been a wrench for me as I still spend time at the home office, but I thought it was a way to force myself to get some sewing done (when at home and in any free time that I might have) as I haven't turned on my Singer 5000 embroidery machine for quite some time.  Vince has set the machine up with a new laptop so I can now digitise my designs and possibly use it in card making.  

I have been having a lot of fun getting organised and with the AU dollar on parity with the US dollar there are many craft bargains to be found on the internet but I suppose I now need some lovely ladies to enjoy the space with me!  Need to spread the word!

Will be taking some further pictures of the fun I have been having in my new workrooms and post them shortly.
